This is the base plate of a blue Dino Ferrari with black engine cover. It has the two holes to attach the car in a rigid plastic box.
• Did the later models issued in card trays with clear lid have these holes as well or re they filled in ?
• Can any member confirm this with a photo ?
• Are there base plates in different colours than white ?
Thanks for your help.
Jacques.
Hi Jacques.
I have this model but without box.
Sorry, I can't help.
Cheers
Richard
When the off white Ford GT was first issued in a card picture box there were no holes in the car base, the model secured with ties through holes in the card base. Later issues of it, on the rigid yellow plastic base with clear plastic lid, had holes in the car base.
