Very little is known so far about the Calais factory and the manufacture of Dinky Toys there.
This letter brings a little light on this subject.
The letter was generously offered by Mike Richardson to Jacques Dujardin on July 27, 2010.
Considering that this document is part of The Meccano heritage, Jacques has sent the original of the letter to David Cook so that it becomes part of the DTCA Dinky Toys archives and artifacts.
Shown is the first page of the letter.
