The Dinky models of the Farm Equipment are my favorites.
Browsing through the internet, I came across a blog with very interesting information about casting- and colour variations of the 27G Motocart with the link: http://dinkyphil-en.over-blog.com/2016/08/dinky-toys-27g-342-opperman-motocart-very-first-casting.html
I did'n know about this casting variation of the base, stated in this blog. In TMT there was already some discussion about the base of the 27G, from which I make out that perhaps more members don't know that. Below I show the picture of 2 different bases of the 27G. According the writer is the left one the very first base of the 27G: without sales number and with the embossed wording MOTO-CART with hyphen. I have never seen this base before.
Comparison of 2 Dinky Toys 27g Motocart bases.
Left: very first base with the embossed wording MOTO-CART with hyphen and without sales number on the base
Right: the later one, modified with the wording MOTOCART in one contiguous word embossed on a raised rounded plate (cartouche) and with sales number 27G on the base. This is the 3rd base version till the end of production.
I always thought that the base shown below, without sales number and with the wording MOTOCART in one word, embossed on a raised rounded plate, was the first base, but I now know that this is the 2nd base version.
I don't understand why the writer doesn't show all 3 basic versions. It looks like he doesn't know the 2nd version below, which is fairly general.
2nd Base version 27G without sales number and with the wording MOTOCART in one word embossed on a raised rounded plate.
The writer had no explanation for this casting change, but I think there is an obvious explanation:
1st) The casting change was not necessary for the reinforcement of the chassis.
2nd) We must pay attention to the correct orthography (spelling) of the model name MOTOCART. On the 1st basis, the model name was designated as MOTO-CART with hyphen. In the Opperman manufacturer's brochures and on the real model, the model name is referred to as MOTOCART, as one contiguous word. See the brochures and the real model below that were shown in a contribution by David Busfield on TMT with the link:

MOTOCART is also mentioned as model name on the boxes. I think Meccano Liverpool was alerted to the error in the model name on the 1st base and corrected that immediately. This explanation is confirmed by the fact that very few copies of the very first basis are known.
So the title of this model 27G as Opperman Moto-cart in the PDF library is also not correct. It must be Opperman Motocart, but in fact it must be only Motocart, as stated in all catalogues.
There is always something new from Dinky Toys.

This discovery is very interesting as it explains the raised cartouche. These cartouches are not rare and can be found on many Dinky Toys were some of the text has been corrected. In most cases we know what the text was before and after the change (tank transporter) but in the case of the Presure Refueler we still do not know what the early marking was.
A similar case is the # 14 triporteur which was also spelt TRI-PORTEUR on the boxes for a while, later boxes were printed with TRIPORTEUR.
There is a third case, the Maudslay horse-box. All three variations were first cast with HORSE-BOX, later with HORSEBOX when the printed documents were marked HORSE BOX.
A well-preserved Motocart, as seen on the YouTube report of the 2021 Hellingly Festival of Transport, last Saturday 28th August:
