At this moment cataloguing and describing my newly acquired Autobus parisien Renault in some more detail, it strikes me that the axles of this example are fairly thin. Do all these Renault buses have the same thin axles, or is there any difference in thickness for pre- or postwar examples, similar to the British Dinky Toys? Kind regards, Jan
Dear jan.
I have 3 copies of this bus but infortunately I did not take a photo with all together.
As I just moved from my home, all my Dinky toys are in boxes and I can't compare the models. Any way, here is a photo of the underneath of two of them. You will note that the older has no baseplate and that the rear wheels are upside down.
Kind regards
Richard
