I have just found your post on the Estrela which you posted while I was on holiday visiting the only part of U.K. where one drives on the right hand side of the road. (Lets see if any one knows where that is.)
I do not want to disapoint you, but from the pictures that you have posted, I think that the Estrela M.G. has not been cast in the Meccano die. It is an other model made to the same scale.
Could you please provide large pictures from straigt in front and straight on top, straight right hand side, 3/4 front and rear etc... ?
The two caps on the bonnet could not have been removed, the shape of the windscreen is different, there is a die partition line on the Estrela which is not on the Dinky, the shape of the front wheel spacers and the underside seem different.
