This is the factory drawing for the Horse that eventually appeared in the 979 Racehorse Transport, produced from 1961 to 1964. As this drawing is dated 1953 it is clear it was planned for the 581, 980, 981 Horsebox and originally to be cast in lead alloy rather than polythene.
