For this model, there are many variations :

• Red body, white plastic base plate and interior, die cast escape on grey wheels
• Red body, yellow plastic base plate and interior, die cast escape on grey wheels
• Red body, yellow plastic base plate and interior, die cast escape, white plastic extension and wheels
• Red body, white plastic base plate and interior, die cast escape, tan plastic escape extension and wheels
• Red body, white plastic base plate and interior, white die cast escape, white plastic escape extension and wheels
• Metallic red body, ? ? ? plastic base plate and interior, ? ? ? escape, ? ? ? escape extension and ? ? ? wheels
• Red cab, chrome plated rear body, escape and hubs, white plastic interior

I have two questions :

• Mike R. mentions a metallic red version, I have never seen one nor have Vectis or QDT. Is this a mistake by Mike ?

• A rare variation has what seems to be a chrome plated rear body and chrome hubs. Is it chrome plate or grey paint ? When was this variation made ?
