Hi all, I love making unusual Dinky Toys photographs or simply just find them. May be you can post some additional odd, curious or remarkable photographs here too?

Jan--
Very nice and interesting photos...you always do a superb job of capturing the right "look" with your work. I will have to try and come up with something!

Imagine my absolute delight when I spotted a Spratts Guy Delivery Van driving down the street outside my house last week!!!

Sometimes a detail shot is just as good as the whole vehicle.

Dave--
Cute picture of the granddaughter....she is darling. We have only granddaughters, but have 6 of them, so I am really spoiled! The printing block picture is very nice....whole different effect with that image.
Here are a few more of mine.............
Jan, I like very much the new born ambulance ! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Yes Richard, if Dinky Toys do not reproduce themselves, they die out!
Let's kiss ...

There are some great pictures in this thread!
Here are some pictures of a diorama I made for a recent local show. Most of the items are Dinky Toys, but a few non-Dinkies are there - I hope I will be forgiven for this!
:)
The Diorama is splendid, when you look at the variety of vibrant colours you realise that Dinky got it absolutely right.
I remember in the 1950s an awful lot of cars were black and the real streets were nowhere near as colourful as the Dinky one.
Dave
Hi Fred, really splendid photos, beautiful display and very fine models. No doubt all of us will generously forgive you the mistake of including non-Dinky models (but just for once! ).
If you like I'll add some new Dinky photo specials:
Fierce no. 23 Racing Cars Competition.
Railway Toys (but different).
Happy Dinky Dodge Family Reunion.

Here is a combination made in Bobigny for a fair.
I don't know if it's for the Paris Fair or for the Toys exhibition for professionals only.
The Citroën 11BL has been repainted or retouched before to be fixed, as the other cars, with an iron string.
The lights are painted ! the hubs with the end of the axles too, but in cream outside and in black inside !!??
Richard
Oups ! I lost the photos !I try again !
Richard this is a lovely piece of history.
Sadly I do not know French, could someone translate this please.
Thanks Dave
Hi Dave.
That's mean : "The french patterns (or perhaps items !) which are the more sold". Literal translation !
Cheers
Richard
Thanks for that Richard
