I just got a new one, blue with sand hubs and it joined my old one, orange and green.
Please note, that the blue one is numbered 532 and its box 932. The other one is numbered 418 (no box)
Both are marked DINKY TOYS (not SUPERTOYS)
Note also the reinfrorcement of the ceiling on the blue version.
Kind regards.
Richard
Bravo Richard, one more unlisted variation.
I notice that your green and orange Comet has suffered the common fault of cracking between the cab and chassis - did Dinky ever add any strengthening at this point?
Hi Richard and Kas, the Leyland Comets with Hinged Tailboard shown below all have the reinforcement as mentioned by Richard. From left to right an unnumbered 532 (dark blue with medium blue body and hubs), a numbered 532 (green, orange body and cream hubs) and a numbered 418 (green, orange body and green hubs). Kind regards, Jan
