With the Land Rover and it's trailer being one of my favorite Dinky's I was very lucky to find this all original military Land Rover trailer.
It already has company of eight other variants which i wanted to share with you by uploading these pictures.
This military version was overpainted in olive drab in the factory. Underneath it the common green paint can be seen due to some chipping of the paint.
I included a photo of the back sides showing the T-decal on the ones with diecast hubs.
The versions with plastic hubs do not have this decal. (or even the towhook)
Through this Forum i found out only 50 have been made for training purposes at Aldershot Britisch Army base.
What an interesting find!
Wouldn't it be wonderful to see a film of the soldiers playing with Dinky Toys?
