-062 Singer Roadster (1958-60)

At the AGM, I got the information that the Singer roadster had a number 2 cast inside the boot as shown by the above photo. This suggest a two cavities die but my model is blank.

Wolter Bekkema has one with a number one. Can any of the members post a picture of one with a number 2 or 3 ?

Jacques--- I purchased mine new when they were first released, around 1959 I would guess. I just checked it, and it is the same as you posted, blank with no number in that space. I would guess that maybe those numbers came later?

Thank you for the info. A nice guy posted a picture of his Singer on TMT, it shows the number one. Is there a number two somewhere ?

Hi Jacques,

I have two Dublo 062 Singer Roadsters and they both have "1" cast at the rear. The reason for the two is that one is fitted with knobbly grey plastic wheels. Picture of it along with the Ford Prefect.

Has anyone got or seen the Commer van with knobbly wheels as shown in the Eighth U.K catalogue?
