Exact dating of so many models can be very difficult. If box and model belong to each other the stamp inside may give a clue. Sometimes, however, a model just gives its provenance away without doubt. That is when first owners put a date on it or similar indications. In the present process of more thoroughly cataloguing my Dinky Toys I met with this model of the French Vautour jet fighter bomber again, showing on the box in ballpoint: '27 avril 1957 Limoges', and neatly 'engraved' below the starboard wing: 'Limoges 27 4 1957'. So this very example of 60b was apparently bought for he first time in Limoges, France, on the 27th of April 1957, just two months after its introduction, end February 1957! Kind regards, Jan
