CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THIS MODEL?

Hi All,

I've just acquired this unusual car for my speed record and racing car collection but I've been unable to find any information about it on the web. Can anyone identify it. There are no maker's marks or identifying features anywhere on the casting but it's very well made and quite heavy.

I'd be grateful for anyone's input.
