Hello to everybody!

Hello everyone,
I'm ashamed to say I have been a DTCA member for severa; years, and have not been active on here at all. So I thought it was about time to put that right!

My name is Chris Warr, I'm 48, and live in Halesowen. I've collected Dinky Toys for 30 + years now, and currently have 560 models give or take a few.

I have currently set myself the task of getting one of each of the main body colours, and hub colour combinations on the 40 Series. Not easy I know. but I am waiting for my 40th 40 Series model, so a milestone of sorts!

I do not collect Mint / Boxed, as long as they look good in the cabinet, that's fine with me!

Anyway, here are a few I've got so far:.....

Hi Chris, welcome to the DTCA forum. Nice 40 series variants you have!
And, please, do not hesitate to contribute as much as you can ... the more the merrier ...

Hi Chris. Welcome on board ! I am like you ! I like very much to have all the colours variations of an item.
By example, I have 13 Austin Devon or 8 breakdown Commer, all in different combinations.

Thanks for the welcome, lovely Devons Richard, that "Vanguard" blue version is top of my wants list right now, not easy to find though! Along with a Maroon Vanguard of course, but barring a lottery win I think that one will stay on the list for a while.
I'll put up some more pictures later.

Picked up another 40 Series from Bridgnorth Toyfair today, my 40th, so I was glad it was something a bit harder to find, Vanguard with Red Hubs on the first type casting.....
