Dave--
What a wonderful thread to start, and I am sure it will be most popular amongst the group here. I have always had a special place in my heart for this series....I just love the cars that were modeled, and one of my very first Dinky Toys (one of 5) that I received for Christmas in 1951 was a red Jaguar (not the one shown here). I only have one each of the series and would sure like to expand that to other colors, as there as so many, but will show what I have to date. The Sunbeam Talbot is also very memorable to me, as I still remember buying it from a display case in a department store, in downtown San Diego, around 1959 or so. It is one of the most perfect, mint Dinky's I own, and it never had it's own box.........enjoy !!
Terry
first off is the Jaguar
then the Frazer Nash/BMW
then the Armstrong Siddeley
here is my lovely Sunbeam Talbot....just about perfect !
then here is the Alvis Tourer.
and finally the Lagonda...I think one of the most handsome cars Dinky ever made.
and finally, a jumble of all my 38 series.
