The registration 146 217 was used on both the 801 A.M.X. 13 and 810 Dodge command car which is wrong for several reasons.
• The French army numbers have 7 digits until 31 - 12 - 1979 and 8 after. There is always a tricolour in front of the number. Meccano did it wrong having tricolours in any location but the number plates.
• The third digit identifies the type of vehicle : cars and busses - vans and small trucks - trucks, tractors lifting vehicles, cranes etc... - armoured vehicles - motorbikes - trailers and semi-trailers. So a command car and a tank can not have the same third digit.
So you can take a sponge and remove these transfers from your beautifull tank transporter. The transfers are original but do not belong to this model.
