Greetings Everyone, especially those living in the London, Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire, Hastings or Cambridge areas.

I will be in the London area between 6 and 22 September 2015, as I am attending the numerous 75th Anniversary of The Battle of Britain displays and Commemorations as a member of a tour organised by Ian Allan Tours. (Ian Allan publishes many books dealing with aviation, and has been around for years.)

The following are the days and where I will be accommodated, unless there are any last minute changes. If there are changes, I will post it on this Thread.

5 September - Depart Brisbane
6 September - Best Western Hammersmith
7 September - Arora Hotel, Heathrow
8 September - Ditto
9 September - Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire
10 September - Mercure Letchworth Hall Hotel, Letchworth, Hertfordshire
11 September - Hallmark Hotel, Croydon area
12 September - Earls Court Hotel - London
13 September - Ditto free day
14 September - Ditto free day
15 September - Ditto
16 September - Royal Victoria Hotel, Hastings
17 September - Arundel House Hotel, Cambridge
18 September - Ditto
19 September - Ditto
20 September - Arora Hotel, Heathrow
21 September - Best Western, Hammersmith (another free day although I may be visiting my sister- in-law in Bromley, Kent)
22 September - Depart Heathrow

I have been to London five times previously, and I have an Oyster Card, so travel will not be a problem. What may be a problem is becoming involved with all the other folk on the tour and talking about the day's events! But if someone wants to catch up for a couple of hours, I am sure I will be able to make the time!

Accompanying me will be my trusty mascot, my 192 DeSoto Fireflite, that has traveled with me on every overseas journey since I first took it back to its birthplace, Liverpool in 2005. (Now that is called either stupidity or dedication!!)
