Hi all, the other day a Dutch fellow-collector asked me the wheel base distance of the Bedford Pallet-Jekta Van. As he acquired an example without the tin base plate in front, for conversion, he has to reconstruct a base for the front wheel axle. I am not in the possession of this van, that's why I forward this request to you. So, he would really be very grateful to know the exact distance between the front and rear axles. Kind regards, Jan
Jan, I have just measured mine and obtained a reading of 97.50mm centre-to-centre. If I am not mistaken, Kingfisher Models do a copy part for their whitemetal Bedford D Type cab, which is copied from the Dinky Pallet-Jekta van.
Kevin.
Thanks, Kevin, much appreciated! Kind regards, Jan
