This is the pre war 150 b box with the A number A 2198.
This item is not listed and is to be added to Al Keeling's excellent list.
Wow!!! this is a rare find Jacques, is box this yours or has someone sent you the photo?
Dave
Hello David999.
No this is not mine, it's just one of the several thousand pictures on the DVD. I probably got it from eBay.
The other box I have for this reference is a post war export box (above). Note that the private is called Trooper, there are only six in a box and the font for "DINKY TOYS" is not the usual one.
I am looking for a picture of the non export post war box. Can anybody help ?
Jacques. There would never have been a post-war export box as these figures post-war were only sold to export markets- primarily USA
Dave
Here are two types of post war boxes for the Trooper (sitting)
The earliest one is marked 150b with a reference number 50179.
The later one is dual numbered 150b and 604, there is no reference number on this box.
Has anyone ever seen a post war green box with only the 604 catalogue number?
Peter I had a message saying "Failed to move file"
Can you please put the missing pic in here
Dave
Done, we had exceeded our disk quota considerably due to some backups I generated the other day. I have now removed c 5 gigabyte of data from the site.
